Hi m45smg, thanks for using Ubuntu and taking the time to file this bug
report! Are you saying that Firefox closes when those actions listed
happen? Is there a crash, or does it just disappear?

First, we need to make sure an extension isn't causing this error. Go
into Tools -> Add-ons menu, select Extensions, and disable everything
except "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications", restart Firefox, and see if you
can duplicate these crashes. If so, can you run firefox from a terminal
(just type 'firefox' without the quotes and hit Enter), and when this
happens, let us know if there is any output to the terminal?
