[Bug 243673] [NEW] can't load hand-typed urls

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

After using firefox for a while and I have lots of tabs open (30-40 this
time), I can't load new urls that I've typed into the location bar.
Neither hitting enter, nor hitting the blue arrow "go to address in the
location bar" works. Nor does opening a new tab and retyping the
address. In fact, NO url works if it's pasted or typed into the location
bar in ANY tab at this point. Only opening tabs from bookmarks or
hitting refresh works.

I've experienced this with ubuntu's package: 3.0+nobinonly-
0ubuntu0.8.04.1 on Hardy Heron

I believe I've also experienced this on winXP with firefox3.

This sounds similar to bug 234953 but I think its still different.
