Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

(I have only tested this in 64bit)

Description:	Ubuntu 8.04
Release:	8.04

firefox:
  Installed: 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
  Candidate: 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
  Version table:
 *** 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

Steps to recreate:
Start firefox
Open a tab and go to http://www.gmail.com
Log in
Close the tab (ctrl+w or by clicking the tab close 'cross')

Result: segfault.

Attached is an attempted backtrace, but I notice that there seems to be
missing symbols. I followed the instructions for backtracing FF3 at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs and would be happy to redo this
trace if someone could let me know which packages I need to install to
getany missing symbols.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
