I uninstalled and reinstalled flash-nonfree plug in and firefox had to
search for open source codecs which then allowed flash videos to play. I
think the new firefox 3.0 is buggy. :^> zingerest

Are you trying to play a file you downloaded in the flash plugin in
Firefox or a stand alone flash player? If not a file downloaded is it
like you cant play youtube videos when opened with Firefox?
