[Bug 240995] [NEW] Sent message is stored or parsed improperly in ImapMail/.

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

I keep local copies of all of my IMAP folders. One of my sent messages
has extra content below my signature; it should end with my name, but
appears to end thus:

---
Adam Buchbinder

>From - Wed
---

Additionally, when I view the message's source, it begins as follows:

---
 Jun 18 11:23:12 2008
X-Mozilla-Status: 0001
X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000
---

I'm looking in my local profile directory in ImapMail/, and that
message, apart from being the first one in the file, looks just like all
the others---it begins with "From - Wed Jun 18 11:23:12 2008" or
something like that, and ends with a blank line, after which there's
another "From - ..." line. I haven't been able to reproduce this with
another message, but this view persists even after I quit and restart
Thunderbird.

Despite this, mb2md (http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/mb2md/)
appears to parse the file into Maildir format properly. It seems like
Thunderbird is parsing the file wrong, even though it's stored
correctly. While a decent workaround for me for now would be to refresh
the messages from the server (assuming that fixes things), there's still
a problem if Thunderbird isn't reading the local mail store properly.

I am running thunderbird 2.0.0.14+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 on Ubuntu
Hardy.
