[Bug 240040] [NEW] Seemingly at random firefox makes my OS go back to the login screen.

Only when I have Firefox open with multiple tabs my Ubuntu installation
just goes to a black screen with a bit of text on it, and then I'm back
to my login screen. When I log in all applications are closed.

I am using  Ubuntu 8.04  64 bit edition.
I am using the firefox 3 beta which comes with the Ubuntu installation.
I have done all updates
