Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Description:	Ubuntu 8.04
Release:	8.04
firefox-3.0:
  Installé : 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
  Candidat : 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
 Table de version :
 *** 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

I've put an example online to show the problem.
When I load http://w3b.info-ufr.univ-montp2.fr/ff3_test/pb_ff3_proxy_apache_livequery.html
I get this result with FF3 through the apache proxy
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Oops ! looks like having "jQuery.livequery is undefined"
Are you using :
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; fr; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008060309 Firefox/3.0

Any idea ? It works fine with firefox 2, konqueror, opera, even firefox
3 but from the other side, when you don't go through the proxy

The apache proxy conf line is :
ProxyPass /ff3_test/pb_ff3_proxy_apache_livequery.html http://the_server/pb_ff3_proxy_apache_livequery.html
We are using :

    * a9331828c517ac5d97f93b3cfdbcc9bc jquery-1.2.6.min.js
    * 9b8dfb7181e23c00e906448eba1396c4 jquery.livequery.js
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

when the expected result is
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
ok ! it was just a bad dream.
Or maybe you don't use Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; fr; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008060309 Firefox/3.0
Or you don't go through the proxy
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The source of the page is attached

Cheers

Joël
