Works as expected in hardy RC1 and intrepid RC1+2. Do you have compiz
being used? Are you able to reproduce this outside of compiz? This
sounds like Firefox works fine is file>quit works and the X doesnt work
on the window boarder and that is controlled by compiz when in use.
Please follow the following steps to see if you can reproduce:

1. go to System>Preferences>Appearance>Desktop Effects and set to None
2. Restart X
3. Log in make sure compiz is still turned off and see if you can
reproduce this.
4. once test is done you can turn it back on than.
Please let us know what happens
