[Bug 238819] [NEW] starting screen

If I close Ff3 and restart it, I get a blank page as per my preferences. 
However, if I close Ff3, open and use Ff2, close Ff2 and open Ff3, I get 
the 'Welcome to Ubuntu 8.04' start page.

I have to continue using Ff2 as there is an upstream bug (bug 228864) in 
Ff3 and I cannot access my online banking and certain other websites.
