Can you please file a differeent bug report by using apport?. You can do this one of 2 ways. First look in /var/crash for a thunderbird crash report if it is there using nautulis double click the crash report and apport will start up and file the bug, or you need to reproduce the crash and let apport report it.
The above is assuming you have apport enabled. If not please enable it by editing /etc/default/apport on the top part of the file as follows:

# set this to 0 to disable apport, or to 1 to enable it
enabled=1

yours needs a "one" there as mine does and reboot than try the above ways to get crash report. This bug doesnt have any info that is needed.
Also make sure you to add thunderbird version along with the bug you file.
The reasonn i am asking for another bug report is because the info here is no good and you dont need apport to get debugging info because it is not how apport works for debugging symbols you need to add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:

deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-updates main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-proposed main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-security main universe

If you get errors about the hardy-proposed repo in the above just
comment it out if it fails im not on my hardy pc atm so i cant test if
the dev enabled proposed repo for debugging.
