[Bug 238256] [NEW] Firefox 3.0 freezes on hardy heron

Each time I stay long on a webpage that contains link directories or
listings, and a bunch of flash ad frames on both sides of the page,
Firefox literally struggles to move the site area using the scroll bar
on the right of the open window.  The only remedy is to use "force-quit"
the Firefox application, or restart my system. This is very annoying,
specially when Firefox is the default web browser that Ubuntu-Linux
installs, I believe Firefox is a strong application for the web, but
please make it work well with the LinuxOS that compliments it from the
start, Don't Let M$, grab back the "converts" by letting Firefox work
better on their turf, Its just plain insulting!, not right, and so not
kool.

Bug is in Firefox 3.0 (came with OS and version as an
update)....[Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9)
Gecko/2008060309 Firefox/3.0]

It took me awhile to realize that I have a little bit of intelligence
left after learning Linux through Ubuntu OS.  M$ with its glamorous GUI,
and ease of installation using "EXE", made it a narcotic to those who
gave up learning, and at one point in time I was one of them. Apparently
even with such ease and comfort they still bother their friends, just
because they saw a stinking pop-up, or a warning that may not even be
that important which they could not figure out, and it only takes a
click on that "X" on the right-top corner to make it go away (pathetic).
Linux made me human once more, its not entirely perfect, but the more I
learn the smarter I get, and the better the LinOS feels.

Thanks Ubuntu, and all The Linux Support communities worldwide, its good
to be HUMAN for a change.=cat999
