Hi Joel

Can you try running "sudo apt-get autoremove", and see if the same thing
still happens after that? (This will automatically remove any packages
that you didn't specifically ask for, and it now thinks are not needed).

If that doesn't solve it, then, if you haven't already, run "sudo apt-
get update" to update the package lists, and try again.

If you are still seeing it, then try to use a package manager (synaptic,
adept, or aptitude) to determine which package it is that flashplugin-
nonfree depends on. There is nothing obvious in its dependencies that
should relate to KDE.
