Hi,

This bug is in fact NOT a duplicate. The duplicate flag should be
removed.

I was the person who originally posted
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251571 and I can indeed confirm they are
different bugs.

My bug (251571) was specifically relating to the folder tree panel (as
kderek mentions). The icons in the subject field of the message listing
panel work properly for me - when I click on a message and wait 3
seconds, the listing goes from bold to normal and the red asterisk goes
away from the icon.

In short, my problem was NOT the same problem as is posted in this bug,
and as such this bug should no longer be marked as a duplicate.

It definitely seems like the two bugs are related and as such the two
postings should both reference each other somehow, but they are in fact
different so a duplicate flag isn't the correct way to reference each
other.

kderek, when you click on a message in the message listing panel and
wait 3 seconds, the asterisk should clear but it remains. The listing
should also go from bold to normal - does it do so? Or is it just a
flat-out case of nothing happening at all?
