I've tested the packages from your PPA, and with the flash10 beta, I
consistently get the following output from firefox (followed by it
vanishing)

** Message: GetValue variable 2 (2)

** Message: GetValue variable 1 (1)
** Message: GetValue variable 2 (2)
** Message: GetValue variable 1 (1)
** Message: GetValue variable 2 (2)
Segmentation fault
amelo at amelo-laptop:~$ *** NSPlugin Viewer  *** ERROR: NPP_SetWindow() get args: Connection closed

I'm not sure where to core goes when firefox segfaults, or I'd show you
some other data.

Any suggestions?
