Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

After adding dns servers of OpenDNS via network manager, firefox keyword
browsing facility broke down.

When you type two words' keyword e.g. "google groups" (without quotes)
in location bar and press Enter, you get an Error Alert saying "The url
is not not valid and cannot be loaded". Instead Firefox is supposed to
work in this order:

1. Form this url: "http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&oe=UTF-8&gfns=1&q=google+groups"
2. Send it to DNS server
3. Retrieve the Google Groups main page.

Changing DNS servers should not create this error and there is probably a bug in the source code that operates keyword browsing of Firefox.

In default settings in other words without changing DNS nameservers to
OpenDNS servers, Firefox doesnt create this misbehaviour.

To create this bug just change your DNS servers to OpenDNS servers. You
can change using the tutorial that reside at
https://www.opendns.com/start/ubuntu.php . After changing DNS servers
type two words' keyword location bar like "yahoo mail" and press Enter.

This bug happening at Ubuntu Hardy on Firefox 3.0.
