please backup your profile by doing:

cd $HOME; tar cvzf $HOME/myprofile.tar.gz .mozilla

in a terminal.

Next assure that you properly restarted firefox after upgrading. at best
do a reboot.

If that doesnt help, please remove the extensions.* files from your
profile.
