Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Ubuntu 64bit
Release 8.04.1 (hardy)
Kernel Linux 2.6.24-19-generic
GNOME 2.22.2

I clicked a link: http://www.world-mysteries.com/sar_3.htm

Firefox crashed, flashed a dialog box to quickly to read. Tried that
link several times to see what was in the dialog box but it was just to
fast (Most times the box didn't even have time to generate text before
firefox closed).

Tried the site in Konqueror and it worked fine.

I don't know if this is relevant but, about 3/4 of the way down the page
there is a Java applet. This applet doesn't work in Konqueror even
though I have the sun-java6-bin and sun-java6-jre. The page tells me I
don't have java installed
