Im unable to reproduce thisin Hardy with 3.0 and 3.0.1 and in Intrepid
3.0 and 3.0.1.  can you please follow the instructions on how to test
with another profile.

Let me know if it helps. also try in safe mode please by running firefox
as firefox -safe-mode
