Hi John

I'll look at this some more this afternoon.  I uninstalled 
using synaptic but the application wasn't removed for some 
reason.  I uninstalled a second time and the second time it 
was gone.

I don't use compiz so that wasn't the problem.  I'm one of 
those people who likes a simple interface.

This afternoon I'll re-install and see if I can recreate the 
problem.
