Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
When loading 17 or more flash widgets on the screen Firefox crashes. I
have tested this on different machines all running different versions of
Ubuntu and Firefox and they all crash. I then tested this on a windows
box and it worked fine. I then gave Redhat a try and it ran fine there
to.
I'm using fusioncharts flash widgets. I can change the type and it still
occurs as soon as I hit the 17 mark so I assume it is flash and firefox
running on ubuntu only.
Firefox crashes on Ubuntu with the following (probably any but this is what I tested it with) versions of Firefox (various Ubuntu versions).
2.0.0.15
2.0.0.14
1.5.0.9
Again it ran fine on WindowsXP and Redhat using Firefox 2.0.0.15(with
WinXP) and 3.0 beta 5(Redhat, not sure on the version)
Normally the browser just closes but I was able to get an output when
using the Google Web Tool Kit in debug mode and Eclipse. Here is what I
received. (Note: No log file was ever created)
