I am also experiencing these problems running Intrepid Alpha2 (i368). I
am using a GeForce 8600GT video card and the Nvidia xorg driver. See
attached for screen shots.

Gnash: 0.8.2-0ubuntu3
Firefox: 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu2
Nvidia: 177.13-0ubuntu5
Kernel: 2.6.26-3-generic
