I was about to reply the same thing..

It seems it is not a Firefox problem but the website that is wrongly
coded.. If you access the website with http://itv.com and click on the
"register" link on the top right corner of the page, you encounter a
timeout. But if you access the website as http://www.itv.com and click
on the link, it opens fine..

Feel free to report the Bug as Invalid.

By the way, I think the Firefox on DSL was v1.x.x not sure but will
update later if required
