Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
Well I'm not a pro, please be indulgent.
The more I use Firefox with Ubuntu 7.1, the more it tends to crash,
- randomly : I leave the computer and when I get back Firefox has crashed and exited ;
- with particular websites (especially, but no limited to, google analytics) ;
- since this morning when I right-click -> view source (systematically, on all websites)
- randomly : I visit sites I'm used to visit with no problem, then . . . crash...
Okay if I must provide more info, please tell me which and how to get
them, I'm obviously quite new to Linux..
PS : Did anyone notice, since this morning, the context menu that
appears when right clicking on highlighted text does not show up
anymore. Instead I get the "normal" context menu. Hovering the
highlighted text does not make the mouse cursor change from cursor to
arrow... But I guess I should report this as another bug...
There are no updates available, and I usually update as soon as
something is available (system is up to date).
THANKS people ! And make Linux stable, it's the main argument against
the others . . .
