I also agree that the situation is pretty bad actually, I don't know
what are exact plans of people who are responsible of this package but
I'm sure that ubuntu people will try to find a solution that will work
for everybody and that will fix this issue once for all.. I don't know
if this solution is near of being released.. and I don't know all
details about it ( maybe that once the actual flashplugin-nonfree
package has been installed, it's not possible to fix the problem by just
updating the package. ) All these little bugs must be fixed.. I'll look
if I can do something to help this bug getting fixed.
