[Bug 179818] Hard freeze when starting Firefox

Hi!

There are various bug reports about Firefox freezing the system but I
was unable to find one that talks about hard freeze when STARTING
Firefox. And that's what happening for me -- it's enought that Firefox
is launched and the whole system hard freezes. There's no FF window
shown, everything just freezes.

Epiphany works fine, so does Konqueror, Dillo etc.

It started to happen after upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy.

My hardware is Fujitsu-Siemens AmiloPro V3505 laptop running
2.6.22-14-generic SMP kernel.

I'll be happy to provide any additional info.
