I have this problems:

* Missing/misplaced pictures with black borders.
    Many times the thumbnails works, and if i show just the picture it does not show up scaled, but shows up when I zoom up to full scale. Size seems to have an aspect also as files with (maybe much) greater height then width seems to fail more often when scaled then the one with greater width.
* Backgrounds fails.
   www.vasttrafik.se often gives me my upper panel over and over again as background.

This is on updated hardy.
The computer is a P4 notebook with a sis-video chipset/driver and the standard Ubuntu configuration.
