Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

When I send mail by Thunderbird, it says it is sending, then sending
completed, then attempting to save. It continues attempting to save
indefinitely until the save procedure is canceled. Yet, the email has
been saved and is in the sent folder. But, when I try to close out the
email, it says "are you sure - this hasn't been sent yet?" This despite
the fact that I did send and the recipient did receive. So, I have to
tell it to close without sending despite the fact that everything I
wanted it to do has been done. It's very annoying, but I also don't
want it to become a bigger problem by suddenly becoming true rather than
false.
