Thanks, Andrew.  From your report, we can see that it isn't an nVidia
driver specific issue, and Jean's report says to look for a difference
in behavior between the nVidia driver and the nv driver, which can be
checked against the behavior of the ATI driver.

My system is a T61p (1920x1200 w/ nVidia FX750M using the nVidia
driver).
