In Gutsy, images that fail to appear at all in Feisty and Hardy (for
example: the tabs at https://help.ubuntu.com and the border around
“Customise homepage” at http://www.bbc.co.uk/home/beta/ ) *are* drawn,
but much too light—as if the opaque parts of the image had been overlaid
with semi-transparent white.
