Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox 3.0.5

I recently navigated to a web form (unfortunately it was behind the
secure area of xe.com so I can't point you there) and was confronted
with a pop-up message saying that I had entered an incorrect value. I
tried dismissing it, but it popped up again and again. The real problem
was that the pop-up prevented me doing anything else in the browser,
such as closing the tab with the offending page on it, or even clicking
the close button of the window. I eventually had to use xkill to get rid
of it.

What should happen is that it should always be possible to close the
tab/window containing a misbehaving window without having to kill the
browser.

** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
