[Bug 84880] Re: firefox uploads files with wrong mimetype

I don't like raising the dead, but I'm currently experiencing the same
issue with Firefox 3.0.3 in Intrepid (8.10).

Namely, whenever I try uploading PDF files, they are detected as
"application/octet-stream".


I'm running a somewhat custom installation though, could someone else confirm this behavior?

Here is some version from Firefox:Help->About:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008101315 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.3
