Your problem is not the same and it should not be filed on Launchpad
since you are not using a version of lightning that Ubuntu has released
. I have plans for 0.8 to end up in Hardy but im waiting to see how 0.9
goes during development upstream. Please install 0.7 from the ubuntu
archives and test. BTW Mozilla doesnt use the same code for Windows and
Linux so comparing them is useless. file bug upstream or install 0.7
from archives and test if still a problem open a bug report.
