[Bug 260376] [NEW] Thunderbird is destroying mails when HDD is full!

Public bug reported:

My HDD was filled to the very last bit.. Despite that, Thunderbird
downloaded the emails and corrupted them... i had 1 mail consisting of
only one line and 3 only with subject information.
