Reproduced in Ubuntu Intrepid daily live CD, 2008-08-21. It's now
slipping under the top panel, not the bottom panel, which is even worse
because it means the title bar and menu bar are hidden by default.

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
       Status: Invalid => New

** Summary changed:

- Default window size too large - slips under bottom panel
+ Default window size too large, obscured under top panel

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: firefox
-
- Ubuntu Hardy beta, 1024*768 display
-
  1. Create a brand new Ubuntu user account, if you don't have one already.
  2. In this user account, launch Firefox.

- What happens: The window opens too large for the screen -- the status
- bar, and the down button in the scrollbar, are hidden underneath
- Ubuntu's bottom panel.
+ What happens: The window opens too large for the screen -- the title bar
+ and menu bar are hidden underneath Ubuntu's top panel.

What should happen: The window should fit completely on the screen.

This is the sequel to bug 8045, this time with Compiz.

+ Problem occurs with:
+ * Ubuntu Hardy beta, 1024*768 display
+ * Ubuntu Intrepid daily live CD 2008-08-21, 1280*800 display
