[Bug 259255] [NEW] Firefox in Xubuntu doesn't have Thunderbird as a mailto handler

Binary package hint: firefox

After installing Xubuntu 8.04.1 onto a Dell Inspiron 7000 and installing
all applicable updates, when clicking on a mailto: link, I am asked what
I'd like to use to handle the mailto: request. HOWEVER, the only entry
made available is Yahoo! Mail; if I want to use Thunderbird, I have to
manually find and select the application in the filesystem. While I
don't argue against allowing the user to choose between using a desktop
mail client and a web mail client, it must be easy to make that choice.
