[Bug 258363] [NEW] firefox hangs on any page opening

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

ubuntu 8.04 and 8.04.1
any firefox 2 and 3 from official repo and downloaded from ftp.mozilla.org

sometimes firefox hangs on rendering new page with 100% cpu load
after restart it hangs on opening ANY page
restarting xserver doesnt cause firefox to work properly
the only way is to reboot system
