[Bug 257897] [NEW] crashing, and unpredictable behaviour

Public bug reported:

These are likely two separate bugs. Firefox crashes when I close a tab.
No error messages are given. It crashes at random times for no reason at
all, but that is less common than the tab closing bug.

Also, a second bug is that right-clicking on a link should only bring up
a menu. Instead I get all manner of unpredictable results. At any given
moment, a right click on the same link could bring up a menu, it could
launch a new window, it could ask me to bookmark the link, it could
launch the link inside a tab. I've gotten all of these behaviours for
ordinary links to web pages.
