[Bug 257139] [NEW] firefox freezes when checking my hotmail 2 out of 3 times

when checking my hotmail, my laptop suddenly freezes and I have to turn
off. It seems to happen while doing a variety of things, not always the
same thing.  It also freezes ( black screen) and won't come back on at
times after being away for half hour or so.

sorry I don't understand all the stuff below that you say I need to
include....a friend downloaded Ubuntu for me and other than this issue I
love it...
