Same problem here, for Japanese. I have opened question #39246, but no one could answer... Here is the question text:
Flash videos with Japanese text do not show correctly. They look all garbled, as if the encoding was not set correctly. Kind of same as if you set the encoding to EUC-JP on a page with S-JIS or ISO-2022-JP encoding.
An example is http://costadelsol.co.jp/index.html, where the menu is ok,
but the text under "News" is not. Also same in all Japanese Youtube
videos. Problem appears in Firefox and Konqueror as well.
I am just wondering if I am missing some fonts, required by Flash
(msttcorefonts are installed)? Or is there some other problem? Both
Flash 9 and 10 beta look the same.
