In testing the fixes that Daniel added to the pulseaudio bzr branch,
I've found that GNOME sound events don't work, due to sample caching
limitations. The sample size has already been increased for use with
LTSP, this is likely to break that even further.

On the other hand, using pulseaudio with dmix hasn't affected
hibernate/resume and the use of audio after resume at all.
