Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
1) I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.
2) I'm using Firefox 3.0b5 - package 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3
Had multiple tabs open, and visited the following page in a new tab:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7360864.stm
3) Expected to be able to view the video on the page above (after clicking the play icon - I have Flashblock installed) and closing the tab to not crash Firefox.
4) The BBC News animated logo (only visible outside the UK I think - I'm in France) played, and then it displayed the "rotating dots" animation to suggest it was buffering the report itself, but it never gets any further. Close the tab, and the whole of Firefox crashes.
