Hi,

In my case, I've got problem with nm-applet which cause problem in
firefox.

And in fact, it was :
saa7134 which cause problem in hal which cause problem in network, and next firefox go offline.

I blacklist saa7134 like this :
 echo 'blacklist saa7134' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

restart, and no more problem ( hal, network, firefox )
