  i was just trying to bookmark something. i am in 7.10 gutsy gnome so ive seen firefox a little bit ago not let me download files that i click and then auto popup and dl. say for instance torrent files. perhaps this is related?

+ i didnt even think to check themes untill you sorta asked above there, and sure enough, its not the firefox theme that matters for this bug, but instead the ubuntu gnome system theme. when i have it on g5-ish or one of the phacile's or aero or 6nome, or crux i can reproduce this bug. default, darklooks, industrial tango, legacy human seem to work fine. now that i think about it i bet its one or more of the engines that are bugging it up >.<
