[Bug 156692] Firefox don´t start in Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy

Issue Description
- Ubuntu 7.10  was installed tow days ago on a Dell Latitude D600 follwoing the default isntallation.
- After the installation , an Ubuntu recommended packages updates were performed.
- Then , trying to start firefox didn´t work. ( firefox try to open a page but, after a few seconds the page is gone away , didn´t work).
