[Bug 154795] memory leaks in thunderbird

Binary package hint: thunderbird

After upgrade to Ubuntu 7.10 on amd64 Thunderbird is memory leaking. 
I think the problem is when loading informations about new posts from Usenet groups. After check of new posts in about 20 groups memory usage is VIRT 1024m, RES 580m and SHR 18m. The memory is freed only after closing thunderbird.
