Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
* I not sure if this is a bug in firefox or adobe's flash plugin
When I install the flashplugin-nonfree package on gutsy,
firefox is reporting that flash 7 is installed.
if I manually install flash 9 using the adobe installer to install as a system wide plugin in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins
firefox also reports that flash 7 is installed.
if I manually install flash 9 as a user plugin in ~/.mozilla
then firefox reports as wrong version 9.0r31 (I am installing r48) but its seems to work ok.
I did not have this problem before upgrading to Gutsy
