Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubufox

Steps to reproduce:
1. I changed the entries of my sources.list from the main server to a apt-proxy server in my network. I also enabled the universe and multiverse apt-proxy repository and run apt-get update.
2. I started Firefox and opened a website with a flash plugin. Ubufox pop up and gave me the offer to install Flash or Gnash. I chose Gnash.
3. Ubufox added a main server universe repository (even though a apt-proxy universe was already there) to my sources.list and updated apt.
4. It started the download process and downloaded a gnash package from the main server. (instead of the apt-proxy server)

It seems to be that ubufox doesn't check if the package mozilla-plugin-gnash already exists as a package information but checks if a universe repository is available.
Wouldn't it be better if ubufox checks first if mozilla-plugin-gnash (or other plugins) exists in the local repository information and if not checking if a universe repository is enabled?

With this procedure, it wouldn't mess up the sources.list which can base
on other servers like apt-proxy.

** Affects: ubufox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
