I am running 7.10. I don't have any special addons or extentions to
firefox. As for the version of firefox, 2.0.0.8 .  The home page I am
using is just google.com.  It shows up and the cursor blinks in the
search tab in the home google page. I try to type alt+d to go to the
address bar and nothing happens.  I try to type anyway and nothing
happens. I have compiz-fusion installed but it is disabled.  I can't say
that this is just a firefox issue, as I said it happens in Pidgin and
some other apps as well.
