[Bug 162556] headphone switch doesn't mute the speakers

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

When I plug in the headphones, the speakers won't go mute.

Going to Volume Control, switches tab, and toggling the "headphone"
makes no difference on this behavior.
