[Bug 162454] the web acces with bandwith with 1 gb ram doesn´t work properly.

Public bug reported:

The problem is: the net works fine, but when i try websurfing with Mozzila Firefox, and Konqueror, the connection is very slow. 
I prove in several mothers (for example: Biostar, Asrock, Asus) diferents memory modules all DDR 400, DUAL 512 MB, 1 GB RAM. 
I prove too with diferents network adapters like Realtek 8134, some series 3-Com, some D-Link
The internet connection is Modem-Router-Switch. ( Proved directly to router and it has the same fail) 
I fix the problem only with a 512 MB RAM. 
Is there a way to the machine work with 1 GB RAM?
